Mozart's SisterComing in April 2016
Most appropriate for: Grades 4-12 You’ve heard of the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the child genius who composed beautiful music at the age of three. But what about his older sister, Nannerl Mozart? She was equally talented but was overlooked by musical history because she was a girl. An inspiring, true story about courage, perseverance, and, of course, wonderful music — this tale is sure to enchant and educate us all about creativity and equality. Teen Night Bonfire
F.L.O. Bake Sale By TitusMy friends, family, and I had a Bake Sale at Ace Hardware in Bellevue on November 21 for our homeschool group called Future Leaders of Ohio. We all had fun! We sold candy, bread, and baked goods. My favorite was the chocolate chip cookies. I enjoyed being the cashier. There was lots of customers. Something special happened that day. When a gentleman asked what my favorite was I told him it was chocolate chip cookies. So, he bought two of those bags. He said "Here is the money. I will eat one of them, and you can eat the rest." Then he left, and I shared them with the rest of the group. I can't wait to do it again someday. We made lots of money to help our group. I am looking forward to helping people in need, too.
